AGRENA 2014 TRAVELOG
Before visiting Egypt, my impression was only limited to parade, explosion, rebellion, the brotherhood. But got there, I found another sides, which much different from my old beliefs. I saw the Egyptians optimistic, honest, easy, straightforward and Saw a thousand things wait to be done. I saw the hope of Egypt.
Speaking from the customs:
a standard Chinese "cool oil" from the mouth of the customs officer let me instantly realized we arrived at Egypt. our travel agency assistant greeted us at the customs, so we passed the customs smoothly.
At the airport, a clients got Egyptian currency from ATM machine to ,exchange rate is $1 for7.4 Egyptian pounds , It is a good deal. We bought the local telephone sim card at the airport , domestic call are very cheap, we paid extra25 pounds for internet package. 1 month’s validity, 1 G flow Internet package. The internet has not been run out when I left Egypt.
Our local agent arranged three persons for your group: driver, tour guide who can speak excellent Chinese, assistant. Driver and assistant all support Egyptian current president Sethi, but tour guide is against him, but three persons keep quite harmonious relationship, which is very common in Egypt and does affect normal life and work. Our guide used to be a journalist in China at International channel of Chinese radio and television station. He has its own unique views on political and economic problem of Egypt, but also provides useful information for many industries to our exhibitors.
The way from airport to hotel the hotel from the airport are high-speed road, Cairo municipal infrastructure are terrible, dirty. Long time no government state have made Egypt lag behind compared with other Africa and the middle-east countries. The apartment is dirty and breakable. But our tour guide said that Egypt is pragmatic, outside broken and quite luxurious inside, Egyptian woman outside dressed very conservative and bored in color but at home they take the best clothes for their husband.
The Egyptians is optimistic, cozy. The Egyptian have good welfare to give them comfortable life. the public schools in Egypt and public hospitals is free, if you have no money can also enjoy a good benefits. But if you want enjoy better education and good healthcare ,you’d better choose a private school and hospital, of course their costs are very high. So in Egypt, the rich have their way, the poor have their fun.
Hotel information:
Cairo is divided into three zones, the old Cairo, new Cairo, Giza area. Our hotel is in Giza district. After arrived at the hotel, the assistant helped us to arrange check in earlier, so we can have breakfast and shower at hotel after long flight. The hotel we stayed is one of famous five-star hotel in Egypt. Compared with the outside of the hotel is a land of idyllicbeauty. Luxurydecoration, elegant atmosphere, fascinating incense, fine gardening, modernservice facilities in Giza, Pyramid background makes us feel Egypt should look like this way.
We took a while at hotel and then visited the Giza Pyramid. The Pyramid was built in three thousand BC, about 2631 BC to 2498. There are three big Pyramid, is the most mature of the ancient Egyptian pyramids, called the Pyramid of Khufu, Khafre Pyramid) (Khufu) (Khafra), Moncara Pyramid (Menkaura) and Sphinx (Great Sphinx). There are many "Mars Taba" and the small Pyramid.
We also took the boat named crystal in the evening for enjoying the night of the Nile and watch the belly dance.
During the exhibition information:
4th , June, in morning we went Great Egyptian Museum, and in the afternoon we went to the Cairo International Exhibition Center to prepare for poultry show, as we have been to this show for many year, and the Egyptian are inefficiency . when we got there, we saw a not-cleaned up construction site, anyway we checked the fascia and put our poster on the panel and confirmed the furniture. Besides we also made some suggestions, the organizer all helped us to solve.
During the three days exhibition, and everything was fine. There are a lot of the well-known Chinese enterprises to participate the exhibition, I saw the great herb men, Zhengchang, Muyang, Liyang Zhongtian, Hengrun and so on. many exhibitors put their machine on site to attract many visitors. All exhibitors consider Egyptian market as the important footboard to enter the Africa and the Middle East market. AGRENA2014 is the most important poultry show not only for the Egyptian market but also for the whole Africa market.
Saturday is the busiest day, after three days exhibition, the percentage of professional group is high and beyond expectation. Most of visitors are the Egyptian and Sudanese and the neighthours countries. All the exhibitors are tiered but fruitful. They collected many name card and useful information.
The exhibitors are very satisfied with this show and give positive remark on this show. Some old exhibitors felt this year show is much better than last two years. Many famous international big companies participated, the visitor flow is three times than last two years. As the better-off of Egyptian political situation, the economic will recover soon, which is the common idea of all exhibitors.
There are not many persons at last day , the exhibitors began to look around to seek opportunity with peer.
Attractions :
In addition to the first two days of the tour, at the last day we arranged to go to Memphis to visit the capital of ancient Egypt.
We visited a the open-air museum and Egypt's oldest Pyramid Saqqara Pyramid, also called stepped Pyramid, compared with the Giza Pyramid group, Fortunately, we entered a noble tombs carved with full of ancient Egyptian hieroglyph sand picture,
We also visited Saladin castle and mosque, the mosque on top of the semicircular dome, the walls are concave semicircular door structure, is to facilitate the Muslim clerics, who sitting in the very far away can hear clearly . in the mosque you have to take off your shoes, if a lady is wearing shorts and short sleeved lady, you need to put the mosque robe to arms and legs.
The road on the way to airport is the new city of Egypt, broad and smooth, on both sides is the construction of high-grade apartments, villas, large shopping malls, everywhere is full of vitality, modern. even the gas station shop decorated delicate and lovely. suddenly I am unable to accept the difference of the new city ,perhaps next year there will be another scene.
